Boston Details

Made from solid oak, the Boston range's distinctive metal sleigh legs feature in the king-size bed. The headboard has tongue and groove natural oak, displaying the unique grain and knot patterns. This style will be great in a modern, industrial interior, where you could also team Boston with Brooklyn. You'll never find chipboard in our beds – the supporting slats are solid hardwood. We make furniture to last.

For a smooth delivery, this bed has been designed to have some home assembly. Full instructions for setting up are provided.

Will It Fit?

Choosing the right piece of furniture for your home is a big decision. Not only does it need to look good and do the job it was made to do, but it also needs to fit.

To fit with your interior style, to fit with your home needs, and most importantly, to fit with the dimensions of your room. If the piece of furniture is near a doorway, which way does the door open? Is the item going to be restricting the route in and out of the room? Is there a radiator on the wall, or a windowsill jutting out that you need to factor in when measuring the item’s height?

Check what you can fit comfortably within your room by looking at the furniture measurements. You can find them in the Dimensions & Assembly section. Note them down and get busy with your tape measure.

The final important measurement to mention, is to ensure your new piece of furniture can fit through your front door when it gets delivered! Most items arrive assembled and boxed. The bed looks fantastic… but… The metal legs are okay but I’d expect a heavier and stronger grade of metal for the price of the bed. The holes for the legs didn’t match up with the holes in the bed. Also about 2/3 of the screws that hold the frame together rounded off during installation. Would have expected a lot better quality for the price.

The bed in itself is great; I love it. The slightly lower rating is due to the exceptionally long delivery time - I ordered it in early May, got a delivery date of 23 July but two or three days before received an email that there would be further delay of almost a month. Finally received my bed on the 19th of August after sleeping on the floor for 2.5 months. I paid extra to have the bed set up and packaging removed; this is a convenient but crazy expensive option at almost £100
