Jensen Style

The Jensen sofa range is a style favourite thanks to its modern looks that reference mid-century design and Scandi influences. The 2-seater sofa, shown here in silver, features neatly padded curved arms and is raised from the floor by slim, tapered hardwood legs. The sofa comes with two accent scatter cushions in a coordinating geometric print that adds to its appeal and ties in with the upholstery of the Jensen round footstool and accent chair.

For a smooth delivery, this sofa has been designed to have some home assembly. Full instructions are supplied.

Materials & Care

Our Jensen 2-seater sofa is upholstered in flat weave fabric that's hard-wearing yet luxurious to touch, making them suitable for heavy domestic use without compromising on style and finish.

Material composition:

Main material: 100% Polyester
Scatter cushion cover: 53% Polyester, 27% Cotton, 20% Viscose
Scatter cushion filling: For that extra bit of cosiness, these scatters are fibre-filled. They're part of the sofa range, designed to match in design and colour

Material construction:

Frame: Our sofas, armchairs, and footstools all come with a lifetime frame guarantee, as they feature solid hardwood and are designed not to creak or warp. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can relax and enjoy the support and comfort of well-made furniture.

Seat base: Serpentine springs spread the load of the seat cushions. Our springs are held together with 'silent wire', quiet strands helping to give plenty of support at the base. That means no sagging - and more comfort for you.

Back support: Tensioned webbing keeps the back cushions in place. When you relax back at the end of the day, you want just the right kind of secure feeling that this gives.

Back cushion: Cushions filled with blown fibre feel the softest. Pockets of air are held in the fibre, making this the filling for the ultimate sink-in sensation.

Feet: Hardwood with oak finish

Seat cushion: Plump-free seat cushions mean they always look good with minimal attention. Made with two layers of foam, the top one is softer. Choose plump-free cushions for a soft seat

Fabric

We choose our upholstery materials to look good, feel good, and to last. We make sofas for real homes where real life happens. Sofas for all sizes of home, all kinds of interior, and for all kinds of families.

Keep fabric upholstery looking good with regular vacuuming and dusting. Give real wood legs a polish. We stock a fabric care kit, with specialist products for general cleaning, and for old or resistant marks.

Sunlight

Sunlight can cause upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight.

From going in store in Merthyr Tydfil to taking delivery..(2 lovely delivery guys, Phil & who were great! They unpacked and put the sofas together and took away all the packing materials. No issues with the sofa. Delivery service from Oak Furniture was awful and would make me think twice about ordering again. I paid for a room of choice delivery only to be told 5minutes before the delivery team arrived that it was a doorstep only delivery due to COVID. They new about COVID when taking the order. Options were to take it or leave it. Seeing as I had no other sofa in the house I was left with little option. Luckily managed to get two work colleagues to help into my home with two sofas. I asked what would happen if I was an OAP with no means to get a sofa into the house and told the same thing. Door step delivery or cancel the order. They know their terms when taking online orders but not once did they mention this. Complained to customer service and the refunded the cost difference of the deliveries and gave me £100 gift code to use in store. Terrible service and felt conned

This is a really stylish sofa and fits perfectly with our new grey colour scheme. It's very comfortable to sit on, so far the fabric seems not to be marking too easily, with 2 teenagers that is a definite plus point, plus the fabric care kit we received will hopefully help us take care of any marks which might happen in the future. A downside is that you have to put the legs on yourself, all fixings are supplied and we followed the instructions, but one of our legs creaks when we sit down, not a big issue but a little annoying. Luckily, our vacuum fits underneath this sofa, for us this is a big plus point as it means we won't have to move the sofa so often to clean beneath/behind. Overall we are very pleased with our choice.
